The Sunridge Patio Homes Board of Directors is pursuing legal action against a non-compliant homeowner.
It is a waste of community resources to pursue legal action because of one non-compliant homeowner and the board is doing so with unanimous reluctance.
However, it is the board’s fiduciary* responsibility to uphold the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the community as stated in our legal documents. See specific references to legal documents: Legal Action Flier
*A fiduciary is someone who has undertaken to act for and on behalf of another in a particular matter in circumstances which give rise to a relationship of trust and confidence. A fiduciary duty is the highest standard of care at either equity or law.
Several vehicles were broken into early March 30th and items stolen. If you park on the street, lock your vehicle and keep personal possessions out of it.
The HOA board of directors supports the planting of drought resistant plants and encourages homeowners to make water-smart choices.
Board member Brooke Foust provided the following information at the March HOA board meeting. “Landscape Plants for the Arizona Desert – Guide to Growing More than 200 low-water-use Plants” is a free booklet that can be found at almost every public library. The guide is also available online www.amwua.org
At last night’s HOA meeting, the board of directors approved the area for the dog run. Kaile, our property manager, will be getting estimates for review at our next meeting.
The dog run will be funded entirely by donations. If you are interested in supporting the project, please contact board member Joan Robinson.
